Overseas network May 25, 10 years of grinding sword, better than Eubiq one-stop electrical plug track after more than 10 years of research and development and market development, has been more and more people accept, use and love. Into thousands of households, into our lives, Eubiq's diversified products have not only brought people safety and convenience, but also become an indispensable part of the information technology era.
The origin of creativity
How did you come up with such a product?
Chairman Yang Chun of Eubiq, who runs his own company, came up with the idea entirely from a simple idea: "We have a lot of production lines in our factory and we use a lot of electrical plugs. Every time the wires come and go, the power goes in and out, it's very inconvenient and sometimes it causes accidents and problems. To ensure the stability and safety of the power supply and also to simplify the electrical plugs, I was wondering if I could design a simple electrical plug track that could put many electrical plugs together at any time.
"I started to do preliminary research and development in my spare time. The design didn't work at first, and it took a lot of time to make a mold. It took several times to make one that worked, but it was only used in my own company and the appearance was very rough."
Yang Chun, who has decades of experience in the industry, is not satisfied. He has been debugging and improving. Three years passed quickly, and the initial design and development finally took shape, which was well received.
With this foundation, Yang chun began to think of the product to the market, but also to benefit more people. He founded the company, brought in professional designers and engineers, patented the technology, and turned this simple idea into a practical product that everyone could see and touch.
This product has a wide range of applications, not only in homes and offices, but also in laboratories, factories, hospitals and other places where safety and stability are highly required.
Founded in 2000, the company now has 55,000 square feet of modern production facilities and plants. Eubiq's one-stop safe and convenient plug has won numerous awards, including the 2007 NeoCon Gold Award for Technical Support in the US, the 2008 Singapore President's Design Award, bronze Award for International Best Design, and more.
To the world
Singapore is a small red dot with limited market. However, Singapore has a high degree of internationalization and is also a window to connect countries around the world. Many of the world's top 500 companies set their headquarters in Singapore, where laws, finance and intellectual property rights are in line with international standards. With Singapore's unique international platform, Eubiq takes its patented technology to the world.
Since 2006, Eubiq has taken the initiative to participate in many industrial exhibitions and trade fairs in the United States, Italy, Germany and other countries. Its unique, practical and convenient design has attracted the attention of many peers. Over the years, Eubiq's sales outlets have spread to dozens of countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, Italy, France, the United States, the Middle East, South Africa, India, South Korea, Hong Kong, And more.
While the company is actively looking for overseas cooperative agents, it has also opened its own retail outlets. In Singapore, their first stop was the densely populated IMM mall, and the response was excellent. They then opened physical stores in Singapore, including Suntec City, Serangoon NEX and Parkway Parade, so that more people could learn about and accept their new ideas and products.
Enter the Chinese market
The huge Chinese market is where every businessman wants to be. China's problems, however, put many people off. Chairman Yang Chun, who has been thinking about how to enter the Chinese market, welcomed his first Chinese partner -- Shanghai XX International Trading Company in 2012. After seeing their products in a store in Singapore, the partner hoped to become their agent. The two sides also signed a contract and set up a joint venture in 2014.
Thinking of finding a partner and entering the Chinese market so smoothly, Yang Chun was very happy. Unexpectedly, after the joint venture company was officially approved in May 2015, the Shanghai joint venture party immediately insisted that the market sales should be exclusively operated by the Shanghai side, and all the technology should be given to the other party for free. This makes Yang Chun very not taste, technology research and development is the core, if free to each other, it is equivalent to so many years of efforts are handed away. What makes people even more angry is that the other party actually took their technology to the China Patent And Technology Bureau to apply for a patent. Fortunately, they had applied for a patent in China in advance, and finally the other party's patent application was rejected.
The road to success is always full of thorns and uncertainties. While Yang Chun was frowning, he met a golfing buddy -- Mr. Chen Ximing. Chen Ximing has done business in Indonesia, Malaysia and many other countries. He also worked in China for more than 20 years. He has a good understanding of China's market and national conditions.
Speak of the ache of the heart, already semi-retired Chen Ximing feels oneself have obligation to help this poured more than 10 years painstaking effort to develop the friend of this product. He quickly assembled a team and formed a comprehensive strategic partnership with Zhongshan Schindler, beginning the unknown difficult road to expand the Chinese market.
"The current problems in the Chinese market are that nobody knows our brand exists and it is not well known. Second, the agent thinks the price is too high." Chen Ximing, who is in charge of the Chinese market. Chen, who has extensive experience in market development and business management, has a set of plans and goals. He wants to take the company public within five years, which is not a small goal, but he is very confident.
"Currently, we have established distribution outlets in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Xiamen in Fujian province, Chengdu in Chongqing, Shenyang and Qingdao in Sichuan province, and will gradually penetrate into second and third-tier cities. We have also started to design and improve our products for the Chinese market. Our previous product positioning was medium and high-end, with relatively high prices in the Chinese market. Now we are designing a series of popular products, which should be more acceptable to the Chinese market on the premise of ensuring quality. After all, our original intention is to make it safer and more convenient for more people."
Let's wait and see, Eubiq, the future is not a dream, tomorrow will be better. (He Yurong)
